Sens. Schumer and Cornyn Join Business Leaders and Advocates to Hit ‘Reset’ Button on Immigration in Upcoming Bipartisan Summit

Dallas, TX — After years of gridlock on immigration reform that has generated division, fear and uncertainty for businesses and families, elected officials from both parties will join business leaders and advocates from across the country to discuss the path forward on immigration at the Reigniting the Economic Engine: Immigration Solutions for 2021 summit next week.

The event will take place on Thursday, December 3 at 11 a.m. EST and is organized by the American Business Immigration Coalition (ABIC), which promotes commonsense immigration reform that advances economic competitiveness, provides companies with both the high-skilled and low-skilled talent they need, and allows the integration of immigrants into our economy as consumers, workers, entrepreneurs, and citizens. Sens. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and John Cornyn (R-TX) will be joined by bipartisan elected officials including Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL), Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC), Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE) and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), as well as U.S. Representatives Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL) and Will Hurd (R-TX).
